Frankie Boyle making a joke about Harvey really isn’t a special awful compared to joking about suicide, pedophiles etc if you think that’s a line that can’t be crossed because it’s mean then you’re outrightly disregarding people victim to the latter. and one could argue joking about race for instance has more repercussions for society than a joke about a disabled child, because it could actually fuel/reinforce very real views that exist outside comedy. Soo I don’t get some of the arguments above.
