Surely it's important for them to learn about sex before they become teenagers, as they need to be educated about protection, and the risks. Also, I remember being a kid, and I'm pretty sure I understood what sex was when I was in year 2. Kids are much smarter than you think, children can be know about sex and still have a happy, innocent childhood.

It's hilarious coming from someone with a baby smoking in a gif as their avatar and someone who is forever shouting about the "snowflake generation" and yet wants to wrap their kids in cotton wool with no interest in an alternative when it comes to something as normal and natural as sex. Hypocrisy much?
