Its awful no-one stepped up to see what was going on, I think I would have.

I was in Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester recently and two teenagers (around 16) were being seriously manhandled by two older guys probs mid 20s, the kids kept shouting for help and it looked terrifying, at one point one was.on the floor and then dragged back up. Everyone was watching and muttering but doing nothing. Fuelled by a few 2 4 1 cocktails, I decided to step in and went over to calm the situation....and nearly got arrested for obstructing the police. The two young lads were pickpockets and the thugs were undercover police who didnt take too kindly to me steaming in with my best Manc "what the ****s going on here you big bullys" tirade. But at least I tried to do the right thing
