People in general are just awful when it comes to talking to retail workers, customer service desks, etc. Whenever I need to queue for either I often cringe at how some (usually older) people talk to them.
Charity canvassers that roll their eyes or go overly guilt-trippy whenever you make an excuse not to talk to them, as if you've just stamped on a 3 year old's head in broad daylight. Oh and the worst has to be children swearing. Obviously I don't mind swearing myself but there is no uglier sound than someone under the age of 10 saying "**** off".
