and having watched that 3 part docu on "homeless" I doubt he actually is..

They found arsenic in his system, the "he believes" part is in reference to how he thinks it got there. The first part doesn't seem to be in question?

It clearly says "he believes" so it's being reported and investigated as what he thinks happened, not objectively what happened .

if for example, the person only had chips to eat in the last 24 hours, it a pretty safe guess that what caused the problem.

Homeless people tend not to eat much, I'm pretty sure this guy is in a much better position to pinpoint how the arsenic got into his system than you are suggesting, hes not just taking a rough guess fgs.

Attempts to rubbish issues like this is a symptom of the heartless society we live in and is insidious.
