for the average person, being fired would probably be a bit much, but for someone in the public eye, nobody is gonna wanna be associated with you after making prejudiced remarks/jokes ...look what happened to Rosanne

Obviously at times like these, people will put up tweets of other people to show the hypocrisy. I've seen a racist tweet today by Romesh Ranganathan. I can guarantee you that you will see him on the BBC again.
