|
British culture is obviously something distinct if you compare with other countries, like other European countries. A lot of it comes from the common language, but even then other English-speaking countries have different cultures.
A lot of people don't bother to look at other countries to find out about them though, with the exception maybe of the USA. |

I wouldn't say that's entirely true really, average Joe tends to know at least a bit about other European cultures like France, Germany, Spain, Italy etc... Maybe less so the northern European countries. But obviously there's also places like Japan or even Mexico / Brazil that people know about.
