While I wouldn't use the ignore function myself, its clearly important to others. And really, I don't really understand pretty much judging people for wanting to not talk to certain users for whatever reason Could be because they are constantly baited, could be because they find the users posts offensive, could be anything really. If you don't want to use ignore, don't. But others want it so..not seeing the issue.
