but that doesn't matter and was never a rule, and the fact is, despite people google it, it still can be difficult to get top answers

It doesnt matter that much just something I've observed. Take the dog question- My first thought was St Bernard which didnt even make the list. So I looked it up and decided on Great Dane - like most of the other people who looked it up.

They are the tallest ! and don't live too long sadly.

People went not for a popular large breed but with the largest.
In the dog world anything from a lab up is considered large
