Its only the first episode but i see potential.

Not revealing who she was stealing i thought was an anticlimatic way to end the episode.

The most bizarre part of it is tjat its being aired on a commercial free atreaming channel and they have comerical breaks edited into it and they advertised other shows coming up next during the broad cast. As farvas i can tell the only channel its being broadcast on is cbs sll acess.

I like that they’ve brought over the same production style as the UK version, and didn’t over-edit it. It feels exactly like the UK version, but with American accents. Hopefully it pays off for CBS but definitely seems like a huge risk.

Cbs seems to be the most aggressive broadcast network when it comes to breaking into the streaming market. They are investing a lot in terms of content into thier channel. Imo LI fits into their target demographic perfectly for streaming TV. The budget for LI is peanuts compared to some of the otjer exclusive programming they created for it. I think it has a pretty good chance of making it if they picked a good group of islanders. Jmo

The one thing i dont like is that they seem to be setting it up so it can be run on regular tv too. That means it will be much more prudey than it could be on just streaming. American broadcast tv is very pg

I prefer it to the British version plus I think the American females are more attractive and I like that cliffhanger at the end

Not really keen on the uk version in my opinion I don’t think this series interests me that much but I was interested in the US version I thought it was interesting to watch in my opinion

Of course it would, wouldn't expect any different but it was quite good imo and I feel like it has room for improvement ratings wise. LI is the kind of show to grow through word of mouth and not really advertising, otherwise it would have been a hit from Series 1 (which it really wasn't and I remember being suprised at it being renewed for a second season) and look where it is now.

Tea. I doubt CBS will give it a chance like ITV did though.
