Oh I know. We had some British history at school (shoutout for Polish education).
But you sort of hope all in Europe have moved on from the past and realized we're strongest together. So it hurts you know.
Especially as I'm convinced that the working class who voted for it was lied to (immigration will continue but from outside Europe) and Britain will have less control as a junior partner of the US or China or the EU. It's a lose-lose situation for britain and europe. Putin must be happy though.
