By all means, keep screaming about how the EU was screwing us over while you lube up the UK for Trump. Reality is going to hit you like a goddamn truck if Boris gets his way.

Lies? The UK public were told by their government, in no uncertain terms, that if they voted to leave the EU that is what they would do.
You can argue that they were duped. You can argue that they were doing the bidding of the elite. Or you can argue that it's against their interests all you want. That the economy will crash. But you can't argue that the British public voted to leave. That was their choice. Being in a free country means that you have the freedom to make mistakes. Otherwise, you don't live in a free country. The only people that were truly lied to, if the referendum is ignored, were the British public.
If you do love freedom and if you love the EU this is what you should be advocating: honor the results of the EU referendum by withdrawing the UK completely from the EU. Then, once they are out, start advocating for a referendum to rejoin the EU.
