Boycotts work when they are focussed and targeted, not when they are too vague, which is why Liverpool's boycott of the sun has been so successful. The original boycott was in retaliation to their inaccurate portrayal of fans and by association, the city and it's people, which is why it's not only reds that support the boycott.
