It has a lot going on but it's just not a very attractive city... I found Manchester centre really stressful just to walk around in
. It was the closest big city to me when I lived in Lancashire.To be fair you can say similar for Glasgow; lots going on, lots to do, but compared to Edinburgh centre it's not an attractive city at all. Depends what you're looking for in a city, I guess, and how you rate aesthetics vs activities. |
