Yes Brexit roughnecks, the unfathomable cohort of heavily working class, low-to-middle income British people who have been swindled into becoming Tory/Brexit stans because of tabloid newspapers and painfully stupid Facebook memes that prod at their national pride and give them an outlet for their frustration and dissatisfaction... by steering it away from Westminster onto literally anyone else.

To be fair though Brexit roughnecks is probably a misnomer because this was going on pre-ConDem coalition... a co-worker of mine at the time was telling me all about how the Tories were going to sort everything out.

She lost her job to austerity and then got f---'d by Universal Credit. Too bad so sad.
