My English Uni pal (from Surrey) used to call our Scottish cleaner Ken Offay (in fact we all did)
as that was the only 2 words he could understand as she cleaned around him each day
Ken and in "you know" and Offay as in "awful"
"Ken that lad doon in number 2 well he wi offay drunk yistirday an he shat ah ooer ra bed" an am no cleanin that mess whit an offay stink ye ken"
