Is it the same apartment block in the UK?? , how strange I assumed this one would be filmed in America.

So it's American because of the contestants then and new host? .

It’s an American show but because they’re pilot seasons (USA, France, Brazil) it’s cheaper to produce it in one place than to build new blocks locally and risk the show not succeeding.

It’s cheaper to fly everyone to the UK and use the same crew than it is to set up a new production base in each country. So even if Netflix pick up The Circle for another series I doubt they will relocate.

Yeah obviously - although if it is a huge success and is gonna be a long running show it’s gonna be cheaper to relocate in the long term. But neflix dont do long-running these days so I imagine I’ll remain here.

Not at all... As the cost savings come from having multiple productions at a single base and reusing resources. In the grand scheme of things relocating the cast for each series is insignificant compared to the massive cost of leasing an entire building for an indeterminate period of time.

They wouldn’t have to lease a building if it was purpose built

A lease offers a significant advantage over a purpose built facility... Trust me.
