I believe that there is a wardrobe full of presents to wrap, courtesy of lovely daughter.
Plus boxes of stuff I have ordered as surprise extra pressies.

Our son and daughterin law arrived from America as a surprise.
He arrived for my birthday and she arrived a fortnight later to spend time for family Xmas.
He now can’t go back to CA until his visa is sorted because he left, so, they are madly looking for a house to buy so he can live in it and it will be a bolt hole when they are not travelling. She will be doing a fortnight here and a fortnight in CA until March when the intention is a few months stay here with kids in tow.
Once she comes over permanently it will be a rental investment for them and they will buy a bigger family home.
I have been dragged in to help, oh happy days

....awwwww, I know how happy you’ve been to see him so happy with his lady and his family...and that was the important thing over the distance...but now that distance won’t be there either...I’m so, so thrilled for you, Smudgie...it’s a perfect ending to 2019 and a perfect beginning to the new decade.....
