Do you dismiss black racism against asians , and vice versa? (which is more common than people like to admit). Do you dismiss the good people do, white, black, gay, straight? Your opinion is that a straight white male is privileged in a way that they can't sympathise with those who face abuse because of colour and sexuality which simply isn't true.

And ok, you don't personally agree, that's fair enough. And i fully agree white racism (be that gay, straight, trans, woman, male, cis, gender fluid, and whatever else) is white racism, and white towards any other race on the whole probably do feel this superiority . Believe it or not, a white woman can be racist, a white gay male, female can be racist, as can and trans and whatever else. In my life i've know just as many female racists as i have male. Racism is not exclusive to anyone. The straight white male isn't to blame here, bad people are.

Every race, gender, age is stereotyped in life by every race, gender, age. A lot of times it's just unintentionally and ignorantly (a LOT of ignorant posts towards whites on this forum and in this thread for example I'm just sayin). Plenty minorities have had it rough though, particularly decades ago, so it rightly hits harder and hurts more (has more impact, more past-influence, more psychological effect) and that's why I wouldn't really compare but to say minorities can't be bigoted or discriminating towards whites/other races is just wrong. Minorities also may face more hardships to this day simply for their skin color but overall as a world we've been continually moving in the right direction. Minorities have tons of opportunity in 2019 heading into 2020 and while you can't remove all racist assholes and racist thoughts (it's literally not possible), it helps to see the world for what it is: imperfect but improving. Just let the hatred simmer rather than add to it and further divide the world. You can very clearly see progress is being made when you take a step back and look at how different things were just 10, 20, 50 years ago.

****, a black man was just president in the US for 8 years. That said, Trump as president right now obviously doesn't help when it comes to racial issues and dividing races.

I could just be ignorant and racism really still is a "major" issue today rather than an issue that still exists though. I have zero prejudices or hatred towards any race ever and I assume most people are that way from what I see & hear but obviously I don't know that. IRL I do notice that minorities I'm close to don't have these major racial issues towards/against them unless it's behind their backs or happens when they're alone and they don't express it etc. Racism still happens around the world for sure but is it something where majority or nearly every black man or woman etc. is fighting obstacles for their equality in 2019? I don't really think it's the case tbh and that might be ****ty to think but I legit view the world as pretty equal just with exceptions. There might be prejudices that come around at times, and for blacks it's a lot more impactful than other races because of the history, but overall I feel there is a lot of equality these days and hopefully it continues to improve and there aren't too many setbacks that occur. (again, Trump factors into a few setbacks recently)

See, it isn't actually untrue that it's a factor but it's one that actually DEMONSTRATES the white male privilege.

It has been statistically proven that attractive people "have it easier" in many ways... people respond better subconsciously, more likely to be approved for various things, more likely to get jobs, right down to the simplest day to day things e.g. more likely to be helped (enthusiastically) in a store when asking.

BUT

It matters less for straight white males. The "boost" given by being physically attractive for women and ethnic minorities beyond their actual qualifications and experience is HUGE. The boost for straight white men exists but is minimal.

So for example, an attractive black female probably ends up with similar hiring chances as a **** ugly white man (if their qualifications are similar).

A black woman of average attractiveness vs a conventionally attractive white male is at a distinct disadvantage in almost every hiring situation, no matter how hard some people WANT to believe that we're "all on an equal footing these days".
