I'm neither hateful nor homophobic, and you have no reason or excuse to call me either. It's more like ... I'm gay and indifferently dismissive The way I see it, I have two choices when I hear the word "f aggot"
1) get really upset and get stressed out over it
2) not do this ^
Which one do you think is the best use of time?
Also, the N-word is completely different. It has a(n actual) history of being used to oppress people, and to still use it in this day and age is disgusting.

Getting "upset and stressed" about something actually isn't a waste of time. If no one got upset about anything we would cease to live in a progressive society. It's good that we can discuss things like this because that's how we move forward.
Personally I am against the argument that it should be removed/censored from the song. I also wasn't opposed to it in the context of this episode. However,
context is everything. You can't tell people when they can and can't take offense to a word - especially when it has a deeper meaning that is specific to a marginalised group. And you certainly cannot frame it within passive-aggressive sentiments such as "There are enough letters in LGBT, we don't need to add more".
Just trying to explain that although something might not matter to you, doesn't mean you can just shrug it off as a non-issue~
