With the loss of Big Brother (which surprisingly I thought I would miss terribly but I dont miss in the least) Love Island is trying to do two shows the same as BB did every year with the last few years they were on. I have to admit that the reason I DONT miss BB is BECAUSE of Love Island. I didnt bother watching the first series but since then I love it. So yep its January and its something new to watch on TV The only fly in the ointment for me is Laura fecking Whitmore. I have never ever liked her. I think she is too full of her own importance and just grates on me. Happily it will possibly be more about the islanders and (like Caroline) she wont feature that much except for eliminations and the once a week After Sun

I’m actually hoping that this winter series will be like a one off and they will revert back to just having a summer series because LI will die out quick time if they go down the route C5 did with CBB.

I don’t actually mind Laura and I’m quite excited about the change in host . Don’t get me wrong I was hoping that Emily Atack would be the host of this series but I think Laura will do a good job.
