She’s hoping he proves her wrong...having said that only one guy seems to have made a play for her and there was no attraction on her part.
How would it be hypocritical for her to crack on with someone else...she said she doesn’t trust him...and many of us saw what was coming. You need to follow your instincts...like I have said before why would you want to be with a guy you simply don’t trust?
