I’m not a big film watcher and I personally wouldn’t go seeking out to watch one of these older films (but then I don’t go out my way to watch modern ones either). I could imagine some of today’s younger generation would be still be interested in these films though as they’re from a time when there was no special effects, CGI etc. They’re more contemporary and the story telling in some are probably a lot more innovative than what you’d see in some modern films nowadays. I would imagine these older films would be of interest to those who want to pursue a career in Media as it would mainly be a source of inspiration for them.

Culturally, they're massively different, just in terms of language that's used, you won't see much, if any swear words and the fact they were made before the sexual revolution of the sixties is another factor.
