It explains a lot, she had this huge album, was primed to be the next big thing and then she just disappeared, not that I blame her. Such an experience would break most people, I do hope that she got her justice and that she got the help she needs to try and deal with the damage such a horrific ordeal can cause.

I really like her music and voice , poor girl , I hope she can get back to some sort of normality and do what she loves to do again , I did always wonder why she gave it all up as she seemed to be in her prime and really popular , what a terrible ordeal for her to go through .

Fair point. But there's just something about the account she gives that is just... leaving me incredulous, really. That a journalist - therefore someone who is making themselves known to a famous victim - would go and track her down, lock her up, and do all sorts of unspeakable things to her? It begs belief.

The conviction rate for rape is shockingly low and the way victims are treated is revolting as well. I wouldn't blame any woman - because it's women who are always the ones who were asking for it, or wearing the wrong clothes or who drank too much or were sluts.male victims seem to get taken more seriously - for not reporting stuff like this
