Oil Painting #2 is in motion:
All drawn up on the canvas here (20”x24” again) and then today I’ve toned it all with a weak solution of Burnt Umber and solvent to lock in the line work and add a fleshy tone to work from as a base (easier than working from bright white I find). Once she’s fully dried out in the garden shed I’ll be painting away, hopefully in the next couple of days! Will keep me busy at least. Dreading it a bit now actually...
