Its good you spending time with your hubby try not to worry

I know its pants, but we do need to focus on the positives, yesterday one of my extended family lost their Dad who was in a care home in Ireland, they had to say goodbye watching him through a window, so bad and all as it gets, as long as everyone in your family stays healthy that is all that really matters

I hate lockdown life . It doesn’t help that my flatmate isn’t the easiest to live with

Cherie it seems so well timed that the little conspiracy theorist on my shoulder is whispering "lol they KNEW didn't they."

The worst hit EU nations are going to have to be taken under the wing of those whose economies are still functional, absolutely massive bailouts will be required to keep the EU from imploding and to keep the Euro afloat. Which means those larger economies will have far less to spend on a domestic rebound.

Just to add of course any major EU slump will have a drastic effect on the UK as well, regardless of membership.

The economic time-bomb is a global one, its not a matter of "who gets hit", only how hard. Which will range from "Very hard in the gut" to "Donkey punch to the back of the skull". No one's just getting a light spanking.

I'm talking about when people will feel safer and when places will open again, of course it will last longer. But by September this year most things will be back on as normal .

I can understand how hard the lockdown can be, especially for anxious people, those that can’t see family and all those that have lost jobs or taken a massive drop in wages.
For me it is not actually being able to hug my loved ones.
But I have friends that knock on my window and wave, leave little gifts in the porch etc.
One of my best friends baked scones, popped into Tesco for clotted cream and a beautiful bunch of carnations and left them in the porch.
Hubby has had to learn to relax, he likes to be on the go all of the time but I think he is secretly enjoying it.

still 100,000 people arrive into the UK each week and can go into any community they please via our airports. so 1 million in last 10 weeks and all in a supermarket near you, weekly.

You do realise that the only people allowed in the UK at the moment are British people stuck abroad

untrue, farmers are scheduling flights to bring in eastern european workers and its not just ex-pats

and being "brittish" abroad is not a vaccine against infection
