I realise that there are arrows, but arrows don’t physically stop people from getting too close to one another and I think that that’s the issue. I agree that less should be allowed in the store at one time but I still think the problem lies in how people behave once they’re actually in the store. Queuing outside with a 2 metre distance, most seem to do fine with.

Last week saw the launch of a class action lawsuit against the authorities in the Austrian resort of Ischgl, where a number of people, including the UK’s patient zero, are thought to have contracted the virus from an apres-ski bar. Over 400 people have agreed to sue the authorities for unnecessarily exposing them to Covid-19, as the Austrian Consumer Protection Association accuses Ischgl of covering up the extent of the outbreak in the resort and keeping it open despite the risk to people.

Tbh if the biggest scandal from them is a socially distant conga line then I don't think they're too damaging. I'm sure the vast majority respected distancing and stayed close to their properties and from what I've seen it's given a real lift to a lot of people who have barely had any social interaction for 7 weeks

We had a "street" party, but we all stayed in our seperate yards, far, far away from each other.

No congas, no gathering.

He could just have easily meant sky reports... but instead of clarifying got defensive.

But didn't you know in order for it to be deemed NON fake news, it has to be reported on BBC/SKY News by the adults, and not the children over on Twitter???

What irrelevance are you bringing into the thread now?

It is about people ignoring social distancing rules to have a party on VE Day. If you want to discuss something else, find the relevant thread.

Do you mean advice?

Another post ignoring the topic, do you not feel confident enough to actually give your opinion on the actual substance of the discussion so instead opt for pedantic nitpicking?

Groups of people congregating in streets to have a party during the pandemic, putting vulnerable people at further risk of contracting the virus and putting more straight on NHS resources. To ignore the... advice makes them selfish cunts at best.

Fair enough, if that's the case. But it doesn't make the content any less reliable because of the poster apparently sharing it for their own personal gain.
