On BBCnewsHD Hardtalk
A Sweden Official.

They spoke of Stricter Early "Denmark" first Lockdown

This got me Angry with MP Gove
who said on interviews, yesterday casually
look at "Denmark" for School Education.
But they have a Lockdown much Harder
then our Conservative stupid run
UK.

He said the Government can not Police

tomorrow there will be new easing down measures

now elementary schools will partially reopen

and it is looking like very likely the 1st of June easing down to go ahead as planned, like movie theatres partially reopening, restaurants partially reopening

but all will be said in more detail tomorrow evening in the annual press conference by Mark Rutte and minister of health Hugo De Jonge

more like a advice, not a must

and movie theatres partially reopening like, just a handful of people at a time spread across the room, so not people too close to each other

same goes for restaurants, also tables with 1.5 metres distance from each other and also not overly crowded, more pre-arranged dining appointments with requested specific times

A woman on JV this morning had a good point about schools , people moan about the lockdown being 2 weeks too late, but the virus was about then when schools were operating as normal and nothing was out of the norm, its ok for teachers to not want to go back as they have the unions behind them and are on full pay, some children are in vunerable homes etc and need to be somewhere safe, also some schools have never closed ,and pupils have been attending,so for me I think we are being unnecessarily scared,as life is never guaranteed 100% no one can guarantee anywhere is 'safe' .

I personally think that older kids should have gone back first - those who have more of a chance of understanding and being able to abide by social distancing. Then we could see what would happen to the R and made decisions on getting the younger children back based on the scientific evidence of having schools open again.

Loss of smell or taste have been added to the UK's list of coronavirus symptoms that people should look out for and self-isolate with.

Until now, only a fever and cough were triggers for people to shut themselves away in self-isolation in case they had and could spread the infection.

Ear, nose and throat doctors had been warning for weeks that more symptoms should be included.

Scientific advisers told the government to update the advice.

If you or someone you live with has any of these symptoms - a new, continuous cough, fever or loss of smell or taste (also called anosmia) - the advice is stay at home for seven days to stop the risk of giving coronavirus to others.

Cough and loss of smell or taste can persist after seven days. You do not need to keep self-isolating after seven days, unless you have a high temperature or are unwell, says the advice.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52704417

I know quite a few people who lost their sense of taste or smell with no other symptoms

Loss of smell and taste were known as symptoms fairly early on.

Teachers are not on full pay, there has to be certain criteria before state schools can even furlough staff.

Yes schools were open in the two weeks before lockdown, the death rate was exploding at that time, and you say nothing was out of the norm?
Key workers and vulnerable kids are already at school they have been throughout, including over the Easter holidays. Don't forget teachers not only have that backing of the unions but the BMA.
What does life isn't guaranteed 100% mean? That you should just recklessly put your faith in government advisors rather that experts again, I know Mr Gove is all about that but for me?.. No thank you.

Coronavirus: Ryanair describes 14-day flight
quarantine plan as
'nonsense'

Michael O'Leary told Sky News he believed
ministers were "making stuff up as
they go along" - saying such a precaution
was unworkable and unenforceable.

https://news.sky.com/story/coronavir...sense-11990221

As a CEO he has made the best points today
on every UK TV news and Radio.

He has a point, people were told to self isolate if they came from a country with an outbreak, took the train home, went to work, took cabs to A and E, it will be no different this time, in China they were taken from the airport to accommodation where they were fed and watered for 14 days before they were left loose in the country, that is not going to happen here
