I refer you to this post from another thread which you might have missed

I have friends who work in the local special needs school, 4 kids in, 2 per class, every day they have 3 different support staff looking after them as they are on two weekly rotas so over a two week period the kids come into contact with 30 different people and the staff are not even put in with the same two children when they go back in after two weeks, plus one of my friends works in Tesco part time, but the management say that is not an issue So far no Covid oh and no teachers it's just the support staff in, so that is how 'hero's' kids are treated, now it's all about safety?

Teachers possibly furloughed as they are more expensive and it is an Academy?
The same risk exists, the kids and the teacher whether support or not if they attend every other day or every other week. As you said each teacher is exposed to the same risk out of school so there is literally no difference.

What makes you bring up its an academy, what makes that a factor?

overall response of dutch people is good, hopeful, positivity for now it seems ''gone'' but it is more because of the pollen

so i hope our government, and RIVM will be prepared and in time going back to lockdown before second wave hits us

Well its heartening to see how few of the profession have died given the number of interactions they will have had with students up to 23rd March. How is it the risk the same for the kids? when limiting your interaction with other people is key to stopping transmission? in the special school where they can't social distance and have to be fed and have personal care, if staff came in once a week the kids would interact with 6 people in a week rather than 30, they want it both ways its seems, but its the kids being put at risk here.

Academy is a business so the bottom line is the balance sheet like any other business?

in these calmer moments you can work on economy i think, you just should go back into lockdown whenever that second wave comes

some music festivals here in Brabant already have found new dates for 2021, in september next year, also moved some of the line ups meant for this year to then either

and some of our artists here also want to give home concerts as a compensation for this year's mess

in Germany, schlager icon Heino (81) he gave a ''carpark concert'' just few days ago on his farewell tour this year, in his 60 yrs of being a musician he never had done something like that, and found it quite beautiful still

It's far from heartening, no death could ever be described as that. Remember the article quoted went back to 9th March prior to lockdown to 20th April the number of deaths is high enough for that time frame.

Miss x and mr y work in the same year group they both have partners and 2 children, if miss x works every other day and mr y the remainder of the time for 2 weeks the kids are exposed to them both for the same amount of time as both of them working one week each.

If academies are centrally government funded how are they a business, do you think the fact that they are centrally and not locally funding is the reason for the rush to return?

surely even you can see interacting with 6 adults in one week is preferable to interacting with 30 but whatever, let's leave it there

Sounds great unless you’re one of the six potentially putting your life and your family’s lives at risk every working day ... presumably they’d also be on duty over the holidays and bank holiday breaks ??

Mmmmm and they’ve been proved to be so reliable .. not

I think people need to realise that the way countries have handled this epidemic has come from advice from WHO

eg - they advised against closing airports but some went against WHOs advice and some had better outcomes now of fatality rates, so it's debatable that WHO's advice has been correct.

There is a review on how they have communicated all things COVID-19 going on now.

We are talking about schools Zizu, they would have ended up working one week in 6 and schools are closed in the Easter holidays and bank holidays what schools do you know that are open

Schools stayed open during the Easter holidays and the bank holidays to care for the vulnerable and key worker kids - as they have done since they ‘apparently’ closed in March ... how can you not be aware of that fact !?

Where you getting your facts from, do you know anyone that work in a school? because I do, and they didn’t work over Easter, the kids need a break as well you know
