Hes still not going anywhere, Johnson is in his pocket for whatever reason and his hands are tied. They're not even bothering to come up with more than a flimsy excuse. Yes they get slated...not as individuals though. I understand that in his position he can’t afford to make an ill thought judgement as he made the rules. Two things don’t make sense with his story which makes the whole debacle questionable.
1. Not letting the PM know...an e-mail would have been an option.
2. The castle visit...not believable.
