I'm completely removing Hopkins herself from the context and only looking at the words one can't reconcile the huge protests with a lockdown, or what happened in some places to a peaceful protest.

Hopkins is a moron. She doesn't stand for anything, she's just a big blob of contrary words designed to have the opposite stance on ANYTHING that is currently happening in some rather sad attempt to be relevant.

Broadly speaking, she just parrots whatever Trump's latest thoughts on the issue are. I'm still convinced she's PickMe-ing for a job in the Trumposphere but I don't think she's noticed that he'll never notice her beyond a passing glance, because on top of everything else, he's sexist. But that's "live by the sword" etc. for Katie I guess

I agree. They call it grifting. That's why she also claims to be a christian conservative these days too, because that's what the US right wants, especially with a dose of a southern English accent. She's not really enough of a firebrand to stand out over there, I mean they have white power hour every night with tucker carlson on fox, so a pathetic troll is not really cutting it.
