White people have been supporting white businesses forever, and white music has been popular for the same amount of time, despite the fact that most of what is known as white music, is actually black music stolen. On top of that, now that Beethoven was actually black, then the white music awards would be a pretty short evening for most of the artists.

Well in my world I see white people support white and black business and I see black people support white and black business.... So why create something like this when it’s really not necessary and just creating a white/black situation....pathetic.
White music is as popular as black music...let’s all enjoy THE music regardless if it’s black or white music. Instead we get people like you make comparisons in your post and trying to ridicule white music. If there was an awards night to celebrate White Music there would be an uproar.....

The difference is that award shows like the MOBOs were created to honour and celebrate creations by people who were often overlooked and weren’t respected because of their race, white people and their creations have never had to face that.

These projections of ‘you wouldn’t like it if it was whites only!’ are very correct, but that’s because white only things would be born out of ignorance and racism, rather than being born from a desire to be properly recognised for a change.
