the prosecution said that they would need 2 weeks to present their case so the duration was likely to be 3 weeks, so the court then needs to schedule on that basis. Also the defense (and prosecution) need time to prepare, collect all the evidence that is then reviewed by either side ... it all takes time. I think the seriousness of the charges also have a bearing on the time frame

...I don’t think she’ll be kept in solitary confinement for the entire year and definitely not with things like the light on 24hrs a day/paper clothing/no bedding etc...It’s a bit confusing because I’m sure I read somewhere that she had a ‘roomie’ already...and both of those things can’t be true, that she has a roomie and that she’s in a solitary unit...

...just going back to this and it being reported that she secretly married...it’s also being reported now that the reason being, she married to protect her fortune...to prevent any victims making a claim against her...

...I wonder if ‘I wish her well’ is a warning to Ghislaine Maxwell to keep her secrets...why on Earth he would wish a child abuser, well...and say that he doesn’t know much about it/her...the President of the USA having no knowledge of the outside world in one of the most talked about cases...scary...
