Russia are still persecuting gays to this day, a lot of Africa is predominantly Christian and those countries still put people in prison for being gay some even get put on death row, those countries have massive amounts of violence based on religion

The scriptures themselves might be as problematic as each other, but it's about how they manifest in the world, what effect they have in countries they have influence in.

And Islam has no influence or power here, no matter what the daily mail or right-wing mouth pieces tell you they do.
Islam isn’t the only religion in history to be manipulated for a dangerous cause, Hitler was a Catholic and lead with religion at his forefront, yet we don’t question the place of Catholicism in the world do we?
