You have to consider how people live now with those religions and the rules of those religions, and realise that Islam is a century behind. We were talking about the UK here, and as far as I know, no Christians, Catholic or otherwise, have been stoned, hanged or dooshed into water on a ducking stool for ages now. Women have equality here, so do gay people. Saudi Arabia, not so much.

Women don't have equality here well not the the full extent, they are still vastly underplayed for doing the exact same job a man would do which is still a major problem yet to be sorted
