I think it definitely needs to happen, I think they should kill all 3 of them tbh or make one of them the killer. I think that would be a nice ending to the story arc if they're doing another film otherwise they should've just finished at Scream 4.

I think it’s the most realistic way forward. Kill all three off in an iconic and memorable emotional way then start a new story.

Have Sidney die killing the killer, like... Getting thrown off a building but then managing to grab the killer at the last second and taking them with her.

Courtney Cox could just die of old age half way through the film.

Nah. I would hate Sidney dying, after everything she's gone through I'd hate to see her killed off - I'd rather Scream 5 not happen.

Dewey and Gail can die though.

That is actually amazing, cause if you think about it, Sidney has had a lot of people killed. Okay she didn't kill herself but all of these ghost faces have been after her and a lot of people got murdered in their path to kill Sid, so for her to sacrifice herself to end the killing would be the perfect ending. And then how about she had a secret daughter she gave up for adoption due to mental illness she is the new final girl.

This sounds odd. I'm sure in previous interviews she was very adamant about Sidney being a strong survivor and that not changing.

I think that's the "joke" though - that he keeps getting caught by the killers but surviving it.

It seemed a bit ambiguous at the end of the first film I thought. He could easily have survived it but surely people would know . They could do something like, his parents had powerful connections of some sort and arranged for him to be declared dead and get a new identity, maybe.
