I think people are purposely confusing a speech impediment with cognitive decline, he’s spoken in the past about his struggles with a stutter and going though speech therapy

Sarah Sanders has to publicly apologise because she mocked his occasional word trip and not being able to get his words out, the narrative that he’s losing his mind is in complete bad faith

I agree, as I've said before looking and sounding "old" makes what would seem like working through a stammer for a younger person makes him look and sound confused. He's probably not going senile. Maybe he should use bluster and bombast, and boast about acing a dementia test.
