Never met a white African in my life.
African covers the indigenous people of the African continent, the natives.
You could of course have mixed race, but not white
White people from the Dutch and the Empire are not classed as Africans.
White South Africans or Afrikaner, white Zimbabweans etc.
They take the name of the country normally, not the continent.
It may have changed of late, but not to my knowledge.

I know that, but their kids/grandkids are still white African people, and personally I don't get how having a hairstyle associated with black people makes you "want to be black?" It's almost like the Media can't accept people liking "black" cultural stuff.
