He didn't say he wanted to use it against protesters, he said he wanted to protect the area from rioting. Maybe race doesn't come into it at all
If the protesters had simply
protested, at least three lives wouldn't have been lost, and people's buildings and business wouldn't have been destroyed. And also, the wannabe vigilantes would be standing around with nothing to do.
