I enjoyed the documentary but it's stuff I've been banging on about for years . The only way to be unaffected by it is to stay away from it - no one really "knows" how much they're subliminally affected by "a touch more of this, a little less of that"... the scariest part really is that it's usually not driven by any real higher goal or political motivation; it's purely about engagement, holding attention, clicks and ultimately profit... by automated systems that are actually relatively simple in concept. Profit = good and nothing else exists.
