I dont agree. In fact, I think the opposite is true. The down ticket Republicans did quite well. Few were predicting wins for Joni Ernst in Iowa and Susan Collins in Maine but both slaughtered their opponents. Its Trump at the top of the ticket who was rejected.

Republicans need to rebuild and Dems too cuz Dems still dont know how to talk to the middle of America but Trumpism will probably become more of a cult from now on.

I also dont see his children having what it takes to make any kind or credible run.

Agree. A Trump who can string a sentence together is a credible candidate.
