The thing is he obviously loves cooking and everyone else seems a bit unsure of cooking the unusual feasts. No one wants to screw up because if they don't cook it right then it's ruined...they all want to eat. It must be hard, if you know the best way when others clearly don't, to not want to guide them to ensure a successful meal.
