Quite right too. It's just a crappy retail job, why should they have to give up their Boxing Day?

Yeah, another way to thank them for their hard work during the pandemic, demean their job and its value.

Maaate I couldn't do it! My stint in retail was in a relatively "nice" shop and even that turned me into a hideous twisted goblin, so god only knows how they cope in supermarkets!
