There -are- cultural (or more accurately, subcultural) elements involved in the Asian community grooming gangs, though. Namely, a stereotype that working class white girls are "easy" and an idea that they have a lower "worth" than other women (i.e. they're only good for sex).
Its obviously not "because of their race" but it does have roots in cultural ideas and stereotypes.
Does that justify anti-Muslim crusades like Tommo's or further stereotyping and racism? No, obviously not, but being blinkered to it is a mistake and acknowledging it (especially WITHIN those communities) is an essential part in changing those outlooks. Being blinkered or pretending that it isn't a thing helps no one.
Now... Does that mean there aren't plenty of OTHER varieties of grooming gang? Of course not - there is of course the very obvious "wealthy white bloke" style of grooming gang amongst others, but the way each operates and the root indoctrinations that lead people (both perps and victims) are slightly different and need to be tackled from different angles.
Wish we could get away from both the agenda-driven rhetoric and the incredulous pearl clutching and just take a look at the facts for a change, in all honesty. Asian grooming gangs are a thing. Aspects of young Asian male subculture are a huge part of that thing. We shouldn't ignore it.
