It's the way news coverage is going in the social-media age unfortunately.
It's less and less about presenting the facts of the news - or both sides of a story - and then letting the viewers make up their minds; and more about presenting an agenda that they know there is a group of viewers that want that. It's aimed at a minority of the public but that is enough to keep the channel in business. You could say the same about many of the newspapers in this country. |
