That is a bit rude to be honest. Yes I agree the answer is 41, but I don’t think BODMAS/BIDMAS is used in everyday life.. people will not have ever have revisited this since they were 14... Equations are never set out like this, hence why they ‘trick’ people.

I'm French and we don't use BODMAS/BIDMAS, it's common maths knowledge however you call the method to be used. Brackets or not it doesn't change anything. Come on, it's not that hard...And I wasn't even the best in maths.
