First thing, is she American now? Why is she standing in front of the American flag?

Secondly, my province and the one directly beside where mine is located in Canada, have both stated their health regions have not had any cases of the seasonal flu. Yes, they have tested for it when testing for covid, or when people present with symptoms that could be either, so if she is implying that it is being hidden under Covid statistics, she is wrong. But also, the reason for no cases is simple. We wear masks at work, we sanitize the heck out of everything, we socialize and interact less with the general public. After anyone touches anything, we wipe it down. We don't hug, we don't hand shake, we don't touch others or what they touch. Never have our societies been so vigilant about germs and spreading. WE ALL WASH OUR HANDS THE PROPER WAY NOW. Yes, finally the education on hand washing has sunk in. The flu isn't as robust at spreading as Covid, so our efforts to curb covid has indeed stopped the spread of the seasonal flu.
