It’s not about privacy for Meghan it’s about having control of what is written.

That's the way privacy laws work though. She is able to sue the newspapers....as are you if you so wished....to whatever end she likes. I'm sure if something negative and damaging to you was posted on here and you reported it, it would be removed but you would not report a post saying you were amazing and the best member ever. Its human nature not to want to negative attention and the way privacy laws work you can do something about it

The privacy involves the same letter in which he friends told the magazine it was a peace offering when in reality it was not.

Well.obviously you can as her case was successful I think the courts are probably better well equipped on what is an invasion of privacy than either of us.

I honestly don't really care if it does her any favours or not that's not me being facetious, I honestly don't.

As for the Queen, she is entitled to do what she wants too. I don't really care about that either.

My point in this thread has only ever been that Meghan has not done anything that terrible with this case. She didn't like what she read, had a case and won in a court of law. She didn't sue her father, only a publication who, like LT pointed out yesterday, won't care as its publicity so a win for them too in that respect.

Wasn't Harry actually in the Army? Surely he has every right to pay his respects whether it's with the Royal family or just with his wife?

That's a very cynical view to have, maybe as an ex army member and (ex?) Royal, he wanted to make sure the Public knew he was still honouring the Day and paying his respects, maybe that was important to him. Why would it be a swipe at the Monarchy? What skin is it off their nose if he lays a wreath elsewhere?

Yes, and not just a photographer - a fashion photographer who captured Meg tramping over the graves in her stilettos. The whole debacle was universally criticized for the tackiness, but I'm sure it will be seen as a lovely selfless gesture by her fans.

So a veteran can pay respects.... just as long as it isn't Harry otherwise it's a plea for media coverage.
