At the end of the day, her father sold stories about her, he sold private letters, he tried to profit from his own daughter's wedding. You can't both sides this and make out that people are just as toxic to her father when it's not the case. Her father isn't in the news every other day, there isn't articles slamming him for holding his belly, there certainly wasn't any comparable articles to when the tabloid rags slammed her for saying something like 'My husband and I'. The only times he has been brought up has been a result of his own wrongdoing towards his daughter. He actually did something to deserve the bad press and the criticism while people bend over backwards to find reasons to hate on Meghan, to try to make out that both are similar is just the most disingenuous bull****.

If this was anyone else, no one would be on the father's side, absolutely no one, but because it's a mixed race american woman who had the audacity to marry a prince, people are accepting the gaslighting because they think it gives their irrational, crazy hatred of this woman substance when it does not. It just highlights how far gone people are.

Oh, and since I already know the responses to this post, I'll just tackle the predictable 'Meghan fan' response that gets dished out to anyone that isn't cutting letters out of a magazine to send her death threats. You don't have to be a fan of someone to see how they are treated is bull****, but you do have to hate someone deeply to the point of irrationality to go against the grain of reality to find reasons to justify hating someone like that. As I said before, if this wasn't Meghan, the people who are defending the father would not be doing so because it's clear as day that he's looking to profit off his own daughter. The fact people are saying 'Everyone deserves a right to privacy but....' to try to justify a reason for Meghan's privacy to be invalidated just says it all.

Take a breath, step away from the computer and just look inward. The hatred towards this woman is not normal behaviour.
