...they’re not ‘putting themselves out there’ by publicly announcing a pregnancy...which is fairly much what most celebrities do...in whatever way they choose to do it, with a pic or without a pic...they’re announcing something very special and sharing their news, they’re not opening themselves up for hostility ....and if they feel as though any media are in any way infringing on their privacy, then a legal action is their right and a well used right against the tabloid media, a win for everyone because many have their privacies intruded on quite ruthlessly and completely slant...they both have special interests and charities etc and they can’t support those so effectively without raising awareness and it’s what their charities would hope for...so they’ll always be high profile people ...when they do release family pics, of course they’ll choose their own photographer...one whose work they admire plus who they’re happy and comfortable to be around ...we would all want that and we would all do that...none of those things are hypocritical nor are they inviting hostility...but I’m sure they’ve accepted that they get that anyway and that’s never going to change...but they don’t put themselves out there for what they appear to get...they just want to have some control over their own lives, which every single one of us would hope ....
